Kruger International Airport adds FlySafair direct flight to Mother City

The Kruger International Airport has welcomed FlySafair new flight route connecting Cape Town which will launch from the 2nd of April 2024 at a single trip cost of R1,851.00. The frequency of the flight is twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flight bookings are already available online at the FlySafair website.

Domestic flights were deemed expensive especially for transfers to Mpumalanga. This initiative creates the necessary competition which has drastically drop the Cape Town fares.

The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) CEO, Mduduzi Vilakazi commended the move made by FlySafair which enables connectivity of domestic travels. He further said that the added flight would reduce travelling time as well as domestic travelling costs.

“Tourists will be able to stay longer and spend more in Mpumalanga thus boosting the economy of the province. This new flight route will afford tourists an opportunity to connect easy to “The Place of the Rising Sun” endowed with scenic beauty and wildlife experience to explore. This is a trendsetter for economic development creating an enabling environment for socio-economic development.” Vilakazi said.

The Ceo continued to disclose that the agency continues to explore other flight routes connecting Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Eswatini.
