You have to love our regular traveller, Euphrosine Khoza A.K.A Mihlo-Kay’s gorgeous pictures that she posted on her Facebook timeline, of her week’s cruise all the way to majestic Mozambique’s Pomene Island during the last month of December, which began in Durban.
Euphrosine and her travelling buddy and colleague Ntsako, took advantage of the 2023/24 MSC Splendida Hot Summer deal which was open from 21st t0 30th December 2023 and it is recurrent with each year.

Euphrosine who is obviously a true adventurer with a fetish for beach life; in February 2018, Euphrosine visited Portugal via the same MSC Splendida and it seems she loved every minute of it, proven by her come back for the second time around.
Just one day recently, Euphrosine and Ntsako, decided to go back and collect more memorable experiences because the MSC Splendida CruiseShip is worth saving money for. “We decided with my friend to do this once more and she immediately agreed and before you know it, we were sending an email to the travel agent who has now become a friend of ours because of his outstanding services. I love the beach life and i couldn’t wait to go back into the CruiseShip; If I could i would, travel every year.” said she.

Having so many restaurants to pick from inside the ship, complimented the foodie that Euephrosine particularly, is, and so during her stay, she made sure that she takes the buffet route to dig into every possible dish found there.
“While travelling, you want to make sure that you eat food you’ve barely tasted before; the reason this is my second time on this cruise and particularly with the MSC Splendida, its their fine dining service experience and how they present foods from various countries, while spontaneously supporting cultural tourism and assisting the formation of friendships made during tourists stay more memorable; In a nutshell, the whole cruise experience “it allows you a world of taste”.
“What I enjoy about being in the ship is that you never go hungry as food is in your every corner coz i love me some food”, stating in between a giggle.
“The kitchen inside the ship exceeds the normal restaurants and eateries norm where most close at 22:00. The MSC Splendida will have you eating around the clock because their kitchen opens at 5 am and closes at 2am” Euprosine said.
This second time around, the ladies were fortunate to sit for the Master Chef competition as well as the opera music show which was also set alight, pulling their attention and becoming one of the best highlights of their time during their stay.
“What an exhilarating time of my life it was; this second time around helps, having to watch the show that I only always watched on TV, being part of the audience was life changing and when in there, it just feels like you are moving around with your own country.” concludes Euphrosine.
