The Great Wine Capitals Best of Wine Tourism Awards 2023 has returned once more with a bang and a call has been made for wine producers, wine experiences and wineries across the Western Cape Province to enter the competition.
The awards aim to celebrate innovation and excellence in wine tourism throughout the greatest wine regions of the world. The initiative also focuses on celebrating leaders making innovative efforts to ensure sustainability and conservation in wine tourism throughout the greatest wine regions of the world.
This annual international competition is designed to reward the wineries in each of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network’s member cities for their excellence in different categories. It is also an excellent opportunity to position the region as a world-class wine destination, with considerable media attention given to the awards and winners.
Winners of the contest will also be included in an annual global campaign financed by Great Wine Capitals, with featured blog posts and articles, and social media exposure on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
